An Osprey hunting along the Sumas River.

A real treat was finding the Western Tanager in the same tree.

Then there is this Male Rufus Hummingbird and he doesn`t tolerate the Anna`s being on the same tree as him.

Female Anna`s Hummingbird. This the third year that i photographed these Hummingbirds in this Flowering Chestnut Tree. Since the Male is with her it suggests that they have a nest nearby.

I got these birds in various areas around Abbotsford.

These Male Hummingbirds come to this spot every year but as yet i haven`t seen them attract any females. The Red one is a Rufus and the Green one is a Anna`s Hummingbirds.
